New role idea. Hacker (TS) or (Neutral Evil)

Alignmemt: Town Support

Summary: A technician wanting peace to this town

Attack: none

Defense: none

Unique: yes

Lore: He never knew what chaos was until he moved into Salem with his family. the boy loved electronics. the thought of code and.... hacking. his family was undergoing some stress. He never knew why. until he crept into the parent's room and found a letter. The crest was a red with a gun in the center. His family was being BLACKMAILED. he knew he had to stop them, so he used his knowledge and started his career.

Invest result: escort, consort, transporter, hypnotist, hacker

Sherrif: Not suspicious

Witch/Consig: your target uses electronics to manipulate people, they must a the hacker!

Ability: Choose one person to hack at night. you may choose what happens to them at night. you will not know the hacked person's role.

Win Conditions: Hackers, Town , Survivors

Advanced: you're existence means there IS a bmer

Must kill: Mafia,Vamps, etc yadda yadda yadda

This is a hypnotist for the town.

Summary: keep secrets then exploit them

Alignment: Coven

Attack: none

Defense: none

Unique: yes

Ability: listen to whispers at night. You will know if there is a blackmailer. If you die at night or get lynched, your notes (where you should keep your secrets) will be revealed along with your Last Will

Win: Coven, Mafia (if blackmailer is alive)

The blackmailer is like a "lover" to the keeper. Blackmailer wins with coven if the Keeper is alive. Keeper wins with Mafia if Blackmailer is alive.

BMed the Day the Game Ends

In the "Trivia" section, it says that if you are blackmailed the day the game ends, you are no longer blackmailed. In my VERY recent ToS experience, this is not true. I tried to say "good game" after the game ended, while I was BMed, and it would not allow me.

Why can BM'ed still vote?

I feel like anyone who's BM'ed shouldn't be allowed to vote. You'll immediately know if they're bm'ed through the spam vote so it doesn't make sense that they can still vote people up. It also doesn't make sense as they cannot speak, and you would need to speak in order to accuse somebody and put them up, and if you make it so they can't vote innocent or guilty, it makes the whole deception part more important.

Changes to BM page(repost)

Should i make changes to a part of the blackmailer wiki page? i was gonna add a notice to one strategy that i saw was not added

Default strategy

However, despite having the ability to blackmail, your alternative role is to also serve as a Spy claim, gaining the trust for the Town. This is because you have the same results when an Investigator checks you. However, Trackers and Lookouts may get suspicious because Spies cannot visit players.

What i add

.(Note: As of version 2.0.0.6537,this strategy is less effective as you can no longer easily "confirm" yourself as a spy, since spy can no longer read whispers.)

I'll keep the tab open until someone says something about it.
