Blank Notes

A Note example

Notes are a personal piece of paper that can be accessed by clicking on the button next to the Last Will or Death Note, depending on what your role is. Notes are useful for writing down suspicions, or Random Town slots. You should also use them to keep track of what everyone has claimed in the game, should it come to use. Unlike Last Wills or Death Notes, your Notes have no character limit, however the message log does, meaning if you were to post a long text from the Notes into the chat, it would come in several messages depending on length. All players receive Notes at the start of the game. Your Notes will never be revealed unless you post them as a message in the chat.

Uses[]

  • Notes usually look like this:
    • 1-
    • 2-
    • 3-
    • 4-
    • 5-
    • 6-me
    • 7-
    • 9-
    • 10-
    • 11-
    • 12-Jailor
    • 13-
    • 14-
    • 15-
  • This is the usual format for game modes such as All Any.
  • 8 is missing because the player #8 had died.
    • Some people prefer keeping #8 on the list and marking them as dead by using a symbol or letter, such as "!" or "D". If you only care about the alive players, it may be better for you to delete them from the list.
  • In game modes with a set role list you should instead use this format:
  • This role list example is a Ranked/Ranked Practice role list. You can also keep track of evil roles (such as Random Mafia or Mafia Support).
  • You may add symbols such as * next to their position/name to help you know who is confirmed, suspicious, etc.
  • You may use the Notes as a Forger to prepare a forgery instead of using your Last Will. In the case of saving a forgery for a later time, this is recommended to avoid revealing your forgery in your Last Will if you die.
  • As a Mafia member, if a Framer is in the game, you may keep track of their Frames using your Notes to avoid accidentally attacking a Framed target or to avoid framing an already Framed player. This will also help you identify if a Sheriff/Investigator is telling the truth or not about their results and make decisions accordingly.
  • If you are an Arsonist, Plaguebearer, or Witch, you may also keep a "real Last Will" inside your Notes, so if you die from lynching you can quickly send the info to the Town, Mafia, and possibly other Arsonists during the Last Words phase.
  • You can also do the "real Last Will" strategy but with false results (e.g. say that almost everyone is Doused to make Amnesiacs want to remember you, or just send false information to cause total chaos).

Trivia[]

  • Notes are sometimes referred to as "Notepad" in-game.
