  • Hitman (Mafia Killing)

    Attack: Basic

    Defense: None

Abilities: You may attack someone in the daylight.

    Attributes:

    - You may only do this during the discussion phase of the day.

    - Your target's Role and Last Will will be shown as normal.

    - You may only do this once.

    - After you kill someone, you'll act as a second Mafioso.

    -Investigative Results-

Investigator: Your target could be a Vigilante, Veteran, Mafioso, Pirate, Ambusher, or Hitman.

    Sheriff: Your target is suspicous!

Consigliere: Your target kills in broad daylight, they must be a Hitman!

I made this role to counter the TP/LO meta.

I was originally gonna make the Hitman reveal themselves after they kill, but I didn't want the Hitmen to just die or just become an extra vote to the Mafia. Tell me what you think.

    • Always wanted a town equivalent of this, wouldn't be too shabby for the Mafia I suppose.

      Mafia Killing... Ok

      Attack: Unstoppable

Wow thats powerful... Way too powerful

      Defense: None

Abilities: You may attack someone in the daylight.

      Ok, interesting

      Attributes:

      - You may only do this during the discussion phase of the day.

So what happens, the person just dies in the middle of the discussion phase?

      - Your target's Role and Last Will will be shown as normal.

      - You may only do this once.

Ok that makes it more fair

      - After you kill someone, you'll turn into a Mafia Deception role of your choice that isn't already in the Mafia.

      That makes it quite powerful

      -Investigative Results-

Investigator: Your target could be a Vigilante, Veteran, Mafioso, Pirate, Ambusher, or Hitman.

Sheriff: You cannot find evidence of their wrongdoing, your target seems to be innocent.

Consigliere: Your target kills in broad daylight, they must be a Hitman!

Ok, this is way too OP. Firstly, it is more powerful than any other Mafia Deception role, as it is just a Mafia Deception plus an extra kill. One can see a lot of instances where this can be used overpowered. True, it does counter the TP/LO meta, but it doesn't counter it slightly, it completely destroys it, as it can kill a revealed mayor almost instantly, a confirmed jailor, a vet, or something else powerful. It also shows up as an inno from sheriff, which further makes it op.

Suggestion after reading this for the creator of the role:

      1. Make it maybe a Basic attack or Powerful one. so roles with defense higher than the  attack value will survive.

      2. You can make it so that they can decide to kill someone (with a basic attack), all nights, and will kill at the place of the Mafioso and the GF, so it becomes just a Mafioso with a day attack (instead of becoming a MD role)

      3. You can't shoot revealed mayors. (So it does not hard counter so much the Mayor)

The problem is that the role will become a little boring and too similiar to the mafioso, and it will also still counters  TPLO requests, Jailor meta and the Jailor himself.

Also make it suspicious to the sheriff.

    • Okay, I have done some changes:

      * It now appears suspicous to the Sheriff (This was just a little goof).

      * It has Basic Attack instead of Unstoppable, Neutral Killings don't need to be weaker.

      * Instead of turning into a Mafia Deception after killing, you'll turn into a second Mafioso.

    • Being able to just take the jailor out of the game seems a bit unfair. If used on the Jailor, it would be better if it does nothing, but not use up the one day attack (Like retributionsit trying to save a disgiser).

    • It forces Jailors to stay silent, that's the point of the role, to counter the TP/LO meta.
